Life Change

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

" You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go. " -

Racing into Business

Auto racing and going into business are very similar. The goal is to win, to succeed, and to be better than your competition. It’s taught in racing that there are no perfect runs, just a series of less mistakes than the other guy. It’s also taught in entry level autocross and solo racing, where every competitor competes individually by navigating a course made up of cones, and the fastest time wins, that the driver should push his rear view mirror way up and his side view mirrors way in. By doing this, the driver can’t see what’s going behind him or next to him. In this form of racing, it doesn’t matter what you’re passing or what’s behind you or what cones you missed or knocked over. What really matters is the next turn and what is in front of you. In business it’s the same, focus on what is in front of you, the goal, the finish line. If you are looking back to see what you missed then you are not focusing completely on the next turn or the next task in front of you. The time to reflect on your mistakes is after the race, during breaks, or when the business day is done. This is the time to evaluate your mistakes, learn from them then move on to the next race without looking back. Our wishes are for your success. www.lifechangeforlife.com
